Odds and sods brew

Post by Asphaltboy » Sun Nov 18, 2007 11:28 am

Whilst the wife was out Christmas shopping yesterday i thought i would clear out my brewing stocks of all the bits of packets in there.

No pressure on yields, style profiles or sg targets - lovely!

3000g pale malt
1000g lager malt
550g crystal malt
500g wheat malt
460g amber malt
340g chocolate malt
230g caramalt

450g golden syrup
110g dark musavardo sugar

40g cascade @6.8%
10g challenger@8%

Yeast - danstar nottingham

This made 18 litres at sg 70 - would expect an abv of about 7.5% - and not being dragged around meadowhall shopping - great!

Will pass it off as an old ale or a porter at beeston in a couple of months
