Many thanks for your prompt and sound advice the issue is sorted the lager is safe and the element is getting stripped out and cleaned tomorrow

JP I had problems with one of my elements tripping out I just took them both out and gave them a bloody good clean so they looked shiny as new, I do this every 3rd brew now and don't have any probs.

I'd scrubbed it with lemons and removed all the lime scale and crud immediately prior to heating the mash water, a full strip and service is in order for it tomorrow

We have a lad at work who's mom is in the porn industry (she edits the movies - she's not in them) you should hear some of the titles! some of the titles really take the guesswork out of what must happen in the 'movie'
