Forgot to Dry Hop

Post by Niall K » Wed Jan 09, 2008 3:38 pm

I kegged a brew about 2 weeks ago and now realised that the receipe asked to dry hop in the keg. Would it be ok the open the keg and dry hop now or should I just leave it alone.

Thanks
Niall

What sort of keg and do you have some way of retaining the hops? Personally I'd prefer to hop in the FV and then rack off to a keg as I find dryhopping can go too far (I realise it's too late for that for this batch)

Thanks for replies.

Its a cornie. Going to put the hops in a mesh bag with a ping pong ball inside to keep the bay afloat.

Funny, as I'd put a stainless nut or bolt in there to make them sink....
