I actually spoke to trading standards and they confirmed that comet were within their rights to give me my money back or expect me to pay the extra..However I've looked at a couple of reviews on the net and they were appalling. Didn't even rate 1 star and one guy reckoned his packed up one m
onth outside the guarantee period and a new thermostat cost him a ton I reckon I'm better getting my money back and starting again.
