Hoegaarden clones

I'm partial to a drop/dram/gallon of Hoegaarden and I wonder, has anyone tried/succeeded in making a Hoogie clone?

I got hold of some curacao peel a few years back and had a go, but couldn't get anything like the right result.

Ideas?
