I'm wondering would there be any significant difference if I were to hand pump my beer rather than just pouring out of the tap of my KK.
The early results of my first two AG brews seems to be good , but I am just wondering , is this the next logical step or not?
Any feed back appreciated, Thanks Rob.
To hand pump or not?
Re: To hand pump or not?
I had to tweak my recipes slightly after I started serving my ales through my handpumps. I upped the hops as the CO2 I was serving under accentuated the bitterness.
It really is the perfect finishing touch for a batch of English ale, there is nothing quite like a good stiff mash followed by a nice hand pump

Even if folks accuse you of looking like Al Murray

IMO it's the only way to reward your efforts in home brewing.
When I go to the pub I never drink beer from bottles, only draught
its also less work.

I reckon you're right there Dev, we go to a lot of trouble to make the stuff the least we can do is serve it properlyDEV wrote:IMO it's the only way to reward your efforts in home brewing.
