secondary fermentation

Probably a silly question but here goes.
My old P brew is now down to 1016 from 1066 so I’m looking to put it into the secondary for a couple of weeks before I bottle it. When I do, is this the time to try and clear the beer i.e., put the gelatine in :?:

I would. You're not going to want to add gelatine to the bottles, or wait for an extended period for them to clear by themselves, so now is your only chance.

I used to add gelatine to the secondary, now I add it to the barrel. Not sure I've ever really noticed a much of a difference.
