would anybody be willing to sell some of their bottled homebrew. i just tried 3 different bottled conditioned beers from tesco's & it wasnt all that special. can ship upto 30kg with dhl for about £8

That would actually be illegal unless the person selling has a licence from HMRC.

Steve's right - it's highly illegal to sell homebrewed beer without a licence. Saying you are buying the bottle not the beer won't wash in court, I'm afraid.

what about free samples???? we have no-one to compare our brews to in bury st edmunds area of suffolk. would also like to try someones ag brews as we are hoping to start these our selves in the new year. just dont have anything to gauge ourselves by :cry: :cry:

There's absolutely no problem with giving it away. Many members on here swop samples so that they can get an indepenant opinion on their brews. Maybe someone lives nearby, or is willing to exchange brews by post.

i hope so. i am trying to convince people to get a homebrew starter kit for xmas. but that leave til at least feb with no tasters. also we will prob end up helping them set up to do their brew & it will be the same as doing it ourselves. like being inbred.
