Transporting full Cornies ??

Post by bandit » Sun Feb 11, 2007 12:01 pm

I have two full cornies of TTL to take to the lakes for a 4oth at the end of the month. They have both been pressurised at 40 psi for a week and then lowered to 10 psi. What experience do you guys have with transporting them as i will have 2 cornies, 1 gas cylinder, 1 gas management board, 1 wife and 2 kids in the car ar the same time. I know the obvuos answer is to leave the wife and kids at home for safety reasons.

I used a home made version of one of these rather than take a full CO2 setup :-

It's no cheaper to make one but I already had the parts (CO2 inflater for bike tyres).

I was just suggesting that they're much more convenient for use when taking cornies away from home.

If you haven't already got one then it looks like you also need a threaded cornie disconnect to fit the injector to.
