All went according to plan, except the battery in the digital thermometer went at the very end (no spares #-o ), so had to clean and sterilise an old thermometer of dubious accuracy :roll:

I used 25 Goldings in the soak in the end as they smelled so nice. Got an SG of around 1037/1038 (hard to read in all the froth), which is about right for the recipe but marginally lower than I was really expecting (which I put down to hop absorbtion).

Anyway, a great way to spend a Friday afternoon 8)
