hi all since ive gone all grain i get a brown slurry on top of my white yeast head.Should i just leave it to settle out with the dead yeast or is there something i can do to stop it thanks dave :D

It's protein matter from the boil and also grain/hop particles which didn't get filtered out. Some people skim off the top layer of this dirty yeast head (with a sanitised spoon/spatula/whatever) others just leave it 8)

i just leave it and have had no problems, it must sink to the bottom and get left with the yeast.
