Why use Brewing Software?

Get advice on making beer from raw ingredients (malt, hops, water and yeast)

Software is useful once you know what your are trying to achieve.

Now that I have brewed a few I have made up my own spreadsheet which has served two purposes.

1, It lets go through the the calculations to work out efficiency and extraction (I ignore colour).

2, It now gives me a standard template that I can use to compare my own brews (cause that is all that is important). It was a really good exercise for me to do and if you have any spreadsheet experience then I would encourage you to give it a go.
