Hi Andy, Daab. Cheers.
I've looked at a couple of software packages on the net, the odd trial version, etc. I always end up staring at the screen and going Whaaa? Confused! Don't know where to start. It's not difficult to do it all on paper anyway. (Old School)

Before long the only place you'll find pencil and paper is in a museum

Oh dear, did one knock over a bucket of steriliser solution on one's laptop? OUCHY!!!! There are easier ways to degunge a keyboard, you know.

Ahh, you may mock, but were porter, mild, pale ale, IPA, stout, lager, and pilsener, created on a laptop? Methinks not, and if paper was good enough for them, it's good enough for me....
....mind you..Labbats Extra Chill Ice Filtered Citrus Beer Lite probably was created on a PC........'nuff said

Fortunately not, when tempted to browse the forum while brewing though I have visions of doing this and resist the temptation.
I did spill a glass of Jack Daniels on a laptop once though

Disaster! It probably spoiled the laptop as well!

Ribena is murder too...especially when poured over the keyboard by a 3 year old.
Since we put a new floor down in the kitchen, my wife would much rather I created brews on the laptop, rather than in the kitchen, as previously

Don't know if any of you know the Dilbert cartoon strip that was in one of the newspapers a few years back. The characters were in an office based enviroment and they were always taking the p*ss out of the boss and demeaning him in someway. I remember him saying his laptop had crashed again and wanted to know how to reboot it. Dilbert and is collegue said, 'Turn it upside down and shake it over your head' Boss leaves happy with this. The collegue turns to Dilbert and says. 'When are we going to tell him it's an Etch a Sketch'

My wife usually buys me the Dilbert desk calendar each year - a giggle a day keeps the doctor away

23L
Pale malt: extract = 3 x 300/23 = 39.13
Wheat malt: extract = 3 x 390/23 = 50.86
Total potential extract =39.13 + 50.86 = 89.99 (degrees of gravity)
1.070 % 89.99 x 100 = 77.78
so has this come out at 78% Efficiency
The SG 1.070 at 26c For 23L

or did i miss some think

That's really good efficiency with that much wheat.
