I really like this no priming sugar idea. Do many people do this? It's the first I've heard of it. Less faffing and less yeast - superb!

I may try it for batch of mild I just brewed.

Do you just go ahead and bottle, or do you test to see if there is viable yeast in the beer?
How much longer is "a little longer"?

Thanks, I'll try this out. I got into home brewing because I don't like fizzy. There are some great beers out here in Canada but it's not like you can taste them with a mouth full of foam.

You bottle ten days after brewing!!

My first brew I left for 15 days in the fermenter. On another forum, people remarked that that was far far too short a time.
