Get advice on making beer from raw ingredients (malt, hops, water and yeast)

all done! yeast pitched , starting gravity of 1060 . :) i tasted a bit before i put the yeast in and it was like malty/toffee/coffee with a rather rude slap of bitterness from the hops at the end. interesting so far :)

Sounds like you had a fine day of it, well appart from the sock and the yeast moments :D

well there was the problem of my ring but thats another thread.....cant wait to try this one though it looks well nice :)
