Morse: Despite all the ribbing, if you need an extract recipe, just ask, someone will be able to come up with something and it's fairly simple to convert some all grain recipes. Just shout if you are scratching around and cant find a recipe you want. :D
Cheers DaaB,

OK, HERES THE SHOUT!!!! COULD I HAVE SOME RECIPES PLEASE, PREFERABLY EXTRACT, TA VERY MUCH

 P.S. Don't knock the stout recipe till you've tried it

Seriously though, thanks for your advice so far, the missus is gonna try flaying a cock later

Crap book warning bells:-

Recipes that contain a lot of sugar relative to the malt content. I'd be wary of anything over 20%

Recipes that call for adding caramel to adjust colour

Recipes that specify 'beer yeast' or even just 'yeast', without further qualification.

Recipes that specify 'hops' without further qualification

So, when you're looking over a homebrew book, look at the recipes first and reject it if any or all of the above warning bells go off. Don't even bother looking through the method!
