Hop and Grain supplies
I used to buy from Muntons at Kircaldy & sometimes if they never had what i needed they got it sent up from stowmarket.Sadly Muntons at Kircaldy has shut down so i will need to go elsewhere. Give them a phone back & tell them you were a customer at Muntons Kirkaldy before it shut it's worth a try. They may be more willing to sell if you buy a bulk purchase i buy a years supply uncrushedRoad Runner wrote:Do you know something I don't about Muntons?

Charles Farams sell Muntons malt, DCL yeasts, Murphys chemicals...and hops obviously. Maybe they're worth a shot if you want a fair bit

EDIT: I just looked up in my files that last time I asked Charles Farams they said they did Warminster Maris Otter (crushed) for £12.70 a sack (+VAT??).

They don't have a minimum order other than they don't split packs.

For all you lads in Ireland the postage up to 30kg would be about £20.
Regards Paul
The post office do up to 20kg for £13 not sure if that covers Ireland or just the UK mainland, ill try and find out.
Hello all, my H.B.S. is a 40 mile round trip and with work getting in the way I find it easier to buy on-line.
I've just received an order from Barley Bottom and even with the carriage on 30kgs. saved an amazing £60 on the grain and hops had I bought them from a shop. Less time driving= more time to brew it and drink it.
Happy days.
