Yes me to, but they are currently out of stock and I'll take your word for it. I won't be tasting the yeast crop.

If you are keen to get one (not cheap but worth it imo) drop James at Beertech a line and you will find he could probably get you one quite quickly

Hi scooby, yes i'll try him. He has certainly been helpful in the past. I bought 2 varietes of hops from him recently.Good to talk to on the 'phone especially when your knowledge of brewing a.g. isn't up to much. Anyway thanks for the info.

Scooby just one thing, I take it you ferment in a room indoors? I use my garage to ferment in and use a brewbelt and mat, depending ot temp/time of year etc. Can I still use the belt and is there a facility to adapt the lid to use a thermostatic submerged fish tank type heater. Thanks

Sorry JB I missed this. I don't see any reason why a brew belt wouldn't work

I use a immersion heater as the room temp does drop at night, (see the black cable on back left) I made a small hole in the yellow lid to pass the cable through. This is sealed with hot melt glue in the summer when the heater in not required.

There is a bung hole for the airlock and I did toy with the idea of machining another one for the heater but as it was so new dipped out
