My last 2 1/2 sacks was at 16.80 direct from the maltster . . . yes part of a group buy, and was collected by a member of the group

You don't want to know how much 50 quid bought in hops though . . . . Around enough for 15+ more batches of my Imperial Stout :twisted:

I will be buying aroma hops from the L (and Not so L ) HBS though

The HBS in Keynsham had Crushed Pale Malt (indeterminate variety, indeterminate age) on sale at £7.99 for 3 kilos when I visited on Friday. At £66.58 per 25 kilos at the HBS versus £29.00 at the Maltsters, despite their inflated price, there's no contest. Pity, really. I got the impression they were more geared up for kits.
