Great photos Scoob, I can definitely see what you are talking about and agree - the one with Aux is much better. Thanks 8)

Just about 3 days with the Aux added, the sample with the Aux really is brighter than the other which is showing no appreciable signs of clearing. I will certainly be using it regularly.

Ready to rack into keg along with the isinglass now, as I don't have a regulator yet I'm going to use the new keg and hope it seals under natural carbonation, I'm not confident about the one I got from Norman, especially with all the recent post regarding pin holes, leaks, silver soldering, stainless welds etc in regard to his kegs. I'll test it when I get the regulator before I use it. The valves, lid etc on the new one seem much 'tighter'.

In fairness to Norm all of the four kegs I've had from him have been fine with the exception of a lid leak from the only one with a plastic lid which he then replaced with a metal lid F.O.C.

Andy, I wasn't getting at Norm (I know you all regard him highly. I just wish he would return my email regarding a regulator), it's just that I want to have the odds in my favour, and the posts sowed seeds of doubt in my mind.

talking of regulators a quick google came up with this;

There very close to me so just about to pop round there and have a chat :D

I'd echo Andy's comments, Norm is generally a good guy (although a bit of a wide boy when you meet him :wink: although he is probably about 60 ish).

Hey! I may have been a member of the forum for a short while but I've soon learnt not to blaspheme, any derogatory remarks about H&G or Norm are definitely out :lol:
