Great bar, Reaper, that would cost me a fortune in chocolates and flowers.

You must shop at Hop and Grape cause in your 'sparging' picture I noticed that 'large-to-small' pipe assembly. John gave me one of those too and I use it for everything when brewing. It's the most used bit of equipment I have. It's just the right size for all the jobs.

HLT to spiny sparger, fermenter full of sanitising solution into CFC, boiler into CFC, and then fermenter into bottling bucket later on.

Great work

I got a 10 gallon brewery from John at Hop and Grape. I keep puting the 'large-to-small' pipe away, then when i need it its "Where did i put that bloody pipe thing", could do with 2.

Hi All
Had a day out at my local brewery today, Helped or hindered them brewing 300 gallon of beer. 8 25Kg sacks of grain and pounds and pounds of hops, it makes my 10 gallon set up pale into Insignificance, especially when you stand next to there 600 gallon kettle. I thought it was going to be a lot more technical, but its only a larger version of mine with a few pumps, pipes and lots of shiny stainless steel. I had a realy good day working with them, got a few pointers where Im going wrong, and most importantly got myself a local contact for grain and hops. :D :D :D

A brew day at an actual brewery sounds cool 8)

I wonder if Meantime (the nearest to me I guess) would take me in for a day...

hi danielski
It was a great day out. You'll need to find a micro brewery I think , "due to health and safety reasons it would not be possible for you to attend a brew day" was the reply I got from a larger brewery. Just email them you've nowt to lose, thats all I did.

That looks like a fantastic brew room Reaper. I have to say I am jealous. I can only justify one batch fermenting at a time (there is also the limitation on the fermenting bins - which I appreciate is easily solved).

However, I cannot help noticing the washing machine. Why the hell would you let your wife anywhere near your brewing Valhalla?

Its a small price to pay, the washer and dryer in the garage the rest is mine.
