The effect of mash consistancy on efficiency?

I brew beer for fun and enjoyment.

Of my 3 AG brews, I have had problems. I really don't care though as I am enjoying myself.

At the moment I am enjoying trying to work out how to make a perfect brew. If I don't get it, it means I have more work to do on perfecting my technique. That means more brweing, more fun.

I never take the brewing seriously enough to be 100% accurate with all my readings. I want to enjoy myself, not feel like I am at school....
