I too would like to add what an excellent service is provided by Barley Bottom. Top notch ingredients at a great price and a pleasure to do business with too! :D

Got some Bobek hops from Paul last week and they were dispatched and received within a couple of days of contacting him, a great service :D

I have bought grain and yeast from Paul in the past and have always had a good service.

A few months ago I bought some Amarillo hops from him as the ones I bought in the US were running out in my stores. Brewed with them about a month ago and tried the first pint over the weekend. What a revelation the aroma and the flavour were amazing, completely different to the US bought version.

All the brews have been exactly the same apart from the hops (which were also pelletized and foil wrapped form the US).

Pauls Amarillo Hops are just fantastic so will be ordering some more soon, to go with the nice bag of MO I just got for the Bank Holiday weekend.

Thanks Paul

The ones from Paul have a massive grape fruity/orangey flavour to them as opposed to a very muted flavour from the morebeer pelittized version.

Yeast I ordered from Paul arrived this afternoon. The order was very professionally packaged and the delivery was quick. Reasonably priced as well. 10 out of 10 :!:

My second delivery of yeast from Barley Bottom arrived today.

With such speedy, well packaged and well priced yeast on offer from Barley Bottom you'd have to be barking to buy your yeast elsewhere :D

'Buy' yeast? Take a trip down your local microbrewery. They give it away for free there (unless they are short on yeast - I got refused this morning as they were pitching their entire stock)

Well aware of this as I have used live brewery yeast for my first 292 AG brews but if I want to start using dried yeasts to widen my brewing knowledge they don't come free, but Reaper at Barley Bottom sells dried yeast at the cheapest prices I have seen and they arrive quickly and well packaged.
