no problem thanks for the initial pump recommendation. works a treat. I've decided to ditch my current pump disconnects and get some John Guest 15mm female stems (link below - really cheap) and use some John Guest 15mm x 1/2 Stem Adaptors on my silicon hoses.

Can anyone confirm that 1/2" BSPP female fittings will screw onto this pump directly? Perhaps with some PTFE tape to prevent leaks. I have a couple of 1/2" PSPP to 3/8" JG connectors that will be perfect for this pump as a HLT recirculation / Sparge pump . . . especially as I have 12V (or 5V) out from the brew comptroller.
JG Fittings are like this (only a 3/8" outlet)

I'd say the Threads are parallel on the Pump (I just double checked putting the Verniers across the threads).

I currently have some 1/2" female bsp thread brass hose tails on there that Lee refers to earlier in this thread.

Hi!

Lee thanks for the tip on this!

My pump arrived next day (20/20) wow its small...

I think I'll screw it down to some wood to stop it moving around once its pumping...

i'll be using 10mm food grade PVC tubing, but may get some reinforced stuff from Flea bay...

Still trying to locate a decent switchable AC/DC converter - whith reasonable psotage to the Isle of Man...

I guess I could always use a 9v battery... ?

:)

Any pictures of the wiring would be nice as I think im going to order one of these. The toton pump is great but very heavy and cumbersome.

Crook, the wiring off the pump is simply red and black thin cable.

Yes its small, dont know to much over bolting it down, i find mine useful to just bung it where i need it.

As the advert says, "small and mighty" :)

Excellent!!! So you just wire it up wire to wire as it were?

they are 15mm female brass stems made by John Guest as indicated above.
