AG#1 has finished fermenting after 3 days in the FV. Not sure of the TG as the hydrometer has hit the bottom of the FV at 1010, so somewhere below that. I'm amazed at how quick its fermented out as opposed to kits.
My dilemma is when to bottle. I don't have the safeguard of an airlock to keep out air borne bacteria as I use the 'lid cracked open slightly' method. I'm also thinking that it'll do the beer good to be in the yeast for a bit longer. I intend to bottle condition as I dont do secondary fermentation in a keg or FV.
What'd be the latest I can safely bottle? bearing in mind any activity has stopped as of today.
