C02 cylinders

I've got myself into a spot of bother. Needed to top one of my barrels up with gas as it's running low on carbonation. Went onto a well know homebrew site and saw they sold Sodastream C02 cylinders, so being in a bit of a hurry i went to my local supplier and bought one (£16+).
The barrel in question has an S30 type valve on the top (male thread). When i opened the seal on the soadstream cylinder i was horified to find it also had a male thread
Has anybody gone down this route If so, is there a conversion kit
Would appreciate any suggestions on this (apart form the obvious, not sure it would fit!!)

Its a pain, I had similar with "widget world" attattchments the other week.(Wasted £30 on cylinders and trying adaptors). The on-line shops dont seem to give any clarity in fittings. I have gone to Hambleton Bard cylinders which screw directly on to s30. Available from Hope & Grape The widget/soda-stream fittings are all different and picking adaptors on line I found pot luck. Got it sorted by trecking out to local home brew shop and taking fittings along with me.

Now i'm very confused
I,ve been told that Sodastream have changed the thread size on the 60L cylinder. Not sure when. Anybody pruchased one recently
