9.30am one full mash of Golden Promise smelling beautiful this morning. Time to start the HLT and brew some more of this wonderful thing called beer. I wont get to use my stainless boiler yet as it needs modifying but this brew will end up in the Cornies.

The tried and tested Wheeler one that worked well last time. I wish I had time to make one of those hopback things out of the plastic beaker and lots of brass fittings but time is not on my hands as we have to have this ready for drinking on 2nd March. The bolis going well, now that I took the cutouts out of the kettle elements in the boiler. I may dry hop some Stryrian in a mesh bag in the cornie to try and add just a little more flavour.

How do you steep the hops. The boil has just this minute finished. I am now waiting for it to settle before I start the CFC
