Mini Mash

Im going to attempt the recipe below however i realised i forgot to order the crystal malt.

I notice there is only 50 grams of this. Will the subtracting of this from the recipe make a big difference?

I would like to try but i do not want to end up with a terrible beer.

1.1kg Pale Malt
50g Crystal Malt
16g Fuggles (full boil)
4g Fuggles (late copper hops/last 15mins)
Pinch of Irish Moss, (last 15 mins)

The crystal Malt is there to add body and colour to the beer. You will not end up with a terrible beer without it, just a different beer :)

There's 5% crystal in that recipe so if you miss it out then the beer will be rather different. It will be paler and less caramelly. More like a lager. What volume is this for. It's hard to get a feel for the strength or bitterness of the beer without knowing how much you're making.

The brew without the crystal malt is the same has the clone Timothy Taylor which I brew (wheeler's Brew your own Real Ale at Home), the gravity will be slightly higher based on a 70% extraction rate.
The hop rate you are using is also about the same bitterness.

This is one of my favourite brews, I am sure you will enjoy it.

Cheers
