No idea what I am brewing at the moment using up everything I got left

3.9 kg Maris
0.5 kg crystal

hops still to decide have about 20 mins 'til end of mash
think i'll chuck in some inverted sugar or demarara to pep it a bit

only have fuggles, styrian and goldings left so think it will be styrian at the off with a few fuggles and finish with goldings a la TTL well we shall see.

40g fuggles @ 60 mins
15g goldings at 10 mins

bloody thermometer my arse was readings the sparge water at 110! and it was not even boiling! all my careful 77 and 68 are rubbish as my thermometer is as acurate as my seplilng :lol:

oh well great brew day though scolded my finger in the rolling boil it makes typing hurt and split my hot liquor tun right down the side. Thankfully it was empty! youngs fermenting vessels are not a good idea, this was full of 90 water earler as I lifted it to the third teir! Stainless steel it is then!

I read on a medical website that a large glass of Wherry taken orally is the best thing for a scolded finger.
