I boil in a 35 litre pot without a tap on it and generally strain the cooled wort through nylon mesh into the FV. The mesh gets rid of all of the hops but pretty much all of the break goes into the FV. Is there any way I can hold back the break without drilling a tap into my pot? (I'm fairly sure I screw it up if I tried)
Also is it very bad to allow all the break into the FV? I know commercial brewers get rid of most of it via whirlpool etc.
