and it's not got off to a great start. So far, my thermometer slid inexorably below the surface of the grist in the mash tun and, for the second brew in succession, I've forgotten to fix the hop strainer to the boiler

However, it looks like I've managed to extract 30 ltrs of wort which is now happily bubbling away with the first batch of Aurora.
Only difference to Vossy's recipe is the yeast - I'm using a Safale SO4 which I had in stock. What will be the impact of this?
