Slow to Finish

Post by Doingatun » Wed Apr 11, 2007 3:17 pm

Hi, All My 3rd AG Grolsch fermented down from SG1:045 to 1:008 in 9 days at 12c after 2 days at 1:008 (target 1:011) racked into secondary to get it off the yeast and add Aux finings but despite 4 days at 1:008 there are still a few bubbles rising to the surface, so still fermenting very slowly :? . Not wanting to keep it hanging around at risk in FV is it ok to add Aux finings etc at this point.
