For all of you out there living in Central/Southern/Eastern Europe, it seems Holzeis.com are now supplying English Pale malt. This has come as welcome news for me as it saves keep breaking down the grain into suitcase size bags that fit in Ryanair's tight@r$e 15kg limit!!! They also say they stock liquid yeasts such at the Wyeast Ringwood etc.

I asked them for the specs of the Pale malt, and if I read them correctly, I think they should be ok (although I'd appreciate any expert validation):

All the details are on the Holzeis site - who are based in Vienna. At €31.20 per 25kg of uncrushed Pale malt, I don't think the prices are that bad either. Welcome relief for us ex-pats

The devil makes work for idle hands. As some of you know I’ve gone into semi retirement at my other job, this means I’ve got my evenings and weekends back to myself. Not been one for sitting around watching the telly, I got to thinking what else could I do.
