Everything went according to plan today, and I batch sparged which upped my efficiency as well :P

I also made a kit up as well, Coopers Brewmaster Ipa. I don't think you need pix of that op though. That was the last outing for the 5 gal boiler as my 10 gallon one turned up yesterday :flip:

Haven't seen that for ages, but you're right it was pretty grim at the time.

On the second pic, what is that sticking out of the side of your boiler where the handle would normally be?

Also, with various thoughts on Hot Side Aeration (HSA) for the home brewer, do you have no worries at all about it (the splashing whilst transfering to the boiler is seen as a bad thing by many!)

Hope you had a great day though :D

I wondered that at first Pie. Look carefully again. It's one of dem dere optical illusions :D ! You can just see the plastic part of the handle at the side of the boiler. Then you can see the wire actually bends and is not something straight sticking out.

No, to be honest it's never bothered me and I haven't had any problems with my methods. I still produce good beer that'll get you wankered :flip:
