6.250 kg pale malt
.680 kg flaked barley
.400 kg crystal (40l)
.100 kg crystal (60l)

.100 kg fuggels @ 90 min
.050 kg ek golding @ 45 min
.030 kg fuggels dry keg
wyeast 1098 brit ale .

Ok lads i have just gone over my notes and i thought i brewed jims english ale but i must have stuffed up once again because although i changed the grain abit why did i use flaked barley i cant seem to remember it being there but i must have read a recipe on this site but which one had the flaked barley ?
any ideas? i know it came off the recipe base some where so now i dont know what or which one it is .
will it be ok and an english beer still?

ok just went through the dave line book and it looks like i made an eldrige pope ROYAL OAK ? sorta but didnt use dark brown sugar . just upped the grain a bit.
yes now i think about it it was a mild i belive ??
hope it turns out ok

ahhh! beer its a laugh a minute .looks like i mushed a few together so i will call it "mushy and mild british ale" DOUBLE HOPPED ? :shock:

SO THE 21st century is when it did all change ! :lol:
