lagering question

i have just bought 2 of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2x-New-25L-25 ... 5653525617 they are food grade and i plan to lager in these.
Will i have to make some kind of vent or could i just screw the lid up tight will it make any difference

Very little (or no) gas is produced during lagering, so you should be OK. You can always crack the top occasionally if you're worried.

They look spot on for the job. Just leave cap upmost so that, as Dunc said, you can vent should you need to. :D

look the business, may want to make a bigger batch as i would be worried by headspace -like with wines- i flushed mine with co2 just incase...
