I brewed an oatmeal stout back in may 43 IBU and when I tasted it in mid July it was foul, I was sorely tempted to pour it away, far too much black malt for my palette, but I didn't, people have said before leave it so I did.

Well today I am pouring it away by the pint

pale 4.75kg
choc 0.125
black 0.25
oats 0.35
challenger 25g
fuggles 45g

Superb! It's not often I drink stout - I save it up for special occasions and then drink a bucket load of the stuff :D Alas I suspect your "store it away" technique will do nothing for the homebrewieness of my Yorkshire Bitter  Once the Coopers is ready that may well get poured away and replaced by the Almondbury... and then I may... just may... order the rest of the AG set up :D
