
We're brewing Jim's ESB, a tried and tested recipe that we put together earlier this year. It turned out to by a cracking pint, so let's see how much we can make between us!
RECIPE: -
Feel free to tweak the recipe if you so wish, or if you don't have all the ingredients and want to substitute with what you have in stock.85% Maris Otter,
5% Pale Crystal,
5% Caramalt and
5% Torrefied Wheat
...to make OG 50.
Bittering hops Challenger to 50 IBU ,
15 mins from end Progress (40g),
Flame out EKGs (40g).
Own choice of yeast (Recommended - Windsor). Optional dry hop with EKGs in cask.
