both have stopped at 1.020-22 9 days in ///could this be it seems high and odd for both yeast finish at the same gravity

Do you trust your hydrometer?
As you say for both yeasts to stop there is a bit odd, unless it has fermented out. My old hydrometer did this to me. I was wondering why I could never ferment below about 1020 so I tested it in tap water at 20c ish. Guess what .... Water was 1015 or so. A different hydrometer sorted the problem. Another test is to taste the brew, at 1022 it should have a definite sweet taste to it, if that's not there then I reckon it has finished fermenting and it is the hydrometer at fault
Good luck

What was the Original gravity @ 68'c mash your going to end up with more non fermentables and more body/ mouthfeel in the beer, just a thought

Did you check your hydrometer? What about your thermometer, are you sure the brews were really at 20c?

Given that both batches have stalled at the same point, my first thoughts are you mashed too high and your thermometer is not accurate, or your hydrometer is not accurate and you've hit your fg. Do you have a spare thermometer, and or hydrometer to check?

If the beer tasted good, nothing to worry about. Out of interest, did it taste sweet? If it didn't maybe check your hydrometer.
Re: brewed beer stuck at 1.022
well I looked out for this, couldn't taste the sweetness ,,, just tasted hoppy .perhaps nicely balanced
just brought a new hydro, so ill check it again
