DIY Dog v2.0 - all 2016 recipes added

Post by Notlaw » Thu Apr 07, 2016 11:18 am

Just got this email from BrewDog
A few weeks ago, we unveiled DIY Dog, whereby we made available the full, detailed recipes and back stories behind every BrewDog beer ever made, stretching from the first ever brew of Punk IPA, to the most recent addition to our range of Headliners, Jet Black Heart, and everything in between.
Today, DIY Dog is getting revamped as we launch
DIY Dog v2.0 releasing the recipes of all our 2016 brews - including every beer we are yet to launch!
Now you can drink our beer before we do!
You can get your digital hands on this open-source homebrewing bible right here

I tried to download it earlier but made a mistake and now it will only let me look at v1.01

If anybody could email me a copy I would be most grateful.

That's got to be a first, publishing brewery recipes not yet brewed!

The NZ pale still has 65IBU from 2g of bittering hops, and 7.5g of flavour hops.

They want an email address this time too. The last one was a total free lunch, but I think I can do without the latest recipes. Great if you want them.

Email address doesn't have to be confirmed.

They don't actually send many emails anyway, so not too bad.

Think I might pick up some Simcoe to try Ace of Simcoe.

There's some funny stuff in that PDF...."Hello - My name is Vladimir." :)

Quite a lot of those brews are wickedly strong. One I saw was 12.5%.

Is the Black Eyed King Imp in v2? 12.7% I had that and it was terrific. I know someone who'd be well pleased if I recreated that. :) ***EDIT SCRAP THAT - IT'S IN V1 MY BAD

Great to see them updating it. The table is a good addition. But it's missing the very tasty B-Side DIPA which had a couple of weeks ago

I used the email address of Diageo's CEO. I didn't think he'd mind.

I've created a sticky in the Recipes section with a (local) copy of the recipe PDF.
