CO2 Hop Extract

Post by Wasp_Box » Sun Jun 05, 2016 2:50 pm

Hi,

I'm interested in brewing Brewdog's "Restorative Beverage for Invalids and Convalescents" as I recall enjoying it a while ago. Brewdog used 10g of CO2 Hop Extract in 20 litres to provide bitterness (beer IBU is given as 100+). I am quite interested in trying CO2 extract if I can get it (note: this is not the isomerised extract that Richie make. This stuff needs to be added at beginning of boil). Some questions:

1. Does anyone know where I can buy this in relatively small quantities in UK? I can't find it anywhere and I can't afford $33 for shipping from USA.

2. Does anyone have 10g they could sell me if I can't buy the stuff from a shop?

3. If all else fails, I'll stick to hops for bittering - I was thinking Warrior would be a good choice - any thoughts?

Thanks

Peter

Thanks. Spotted it after I had posted. Just PM'd Mr Dripping. I would still like an answer to No 3 though.
