How to wash rice hulls?

I have a bag of 200g to help with a wheat beer I'm making tomorrow. It says to wash them before use. I can't find any info on how to do that.

I usually rinse twice with boiling water. Never had any issues

Hulls or oat husks I put into a bucket of water and haul out with a sieve, you don't need a huge amount to be effective.
