Jimbob's calculator

Post by guypettigrew » Wed Aug 14, 2019 8:52 pm

Can someone please tell me what to do with JimBob's calculator?

I click on it, get something which asks me what I want to with it, I download it and get a zip file. No idea how to get into a zip file. Can't get any further.

Why doesn't it just download? Seems stupidly complex to me. But perhaps I'm just computer stupid.

Now that I look at it after a few months, it isn't really clear is it?

There was a discussion about it here viewtopic.php?f=77&t=17405&p=843593&hil ... or#p843593 at the time, but I'm not sure what the current state of development is - it was still a work in progress at the time I last looked, and I'm still using the original as left by Graham before he passed.

Thanks, Jim. If it's a work in progress then I'll check it out every now and then.

Like you, I'm still using Graham's original. Just thought it'd be interesting to look at something else.

I personally find Grahams original simple to use and perfect for what I need to devise and store recipes.
