Couldn't resist

Post by Andy » Sun Jan 29, 2006 6:22 pm

Well after holding out for all of four days I decided to have a swift taster of my first all grain brew....

Mmmmm, very hoppy and has certainly got some body to it :D A huge leap upward in terms of quality over my kit beers.

Nice and clear too!

Off on hols for a couple of weeks soon so enforced maturation will occur....

I'm having a pint or two of Ruddles County at home...the "breasty bells" could tempt me...maybe not. :stun

Looks good Andy! Did we mention that you drink grain beer twice as quick so you have to make twice as much? :P ;)

jim - I can live with that hardship :P I think a Landlord clone will be next on the cards upon my return. Then time to try something other than a pale ale I guess...

DaaB - enjoy those HopBack beers, I'll be supping the remains of my St. Peters case at home. :stun
