THE VENUE:
On the grounds of the Colliery club is a memorial to the mining disaster at Gresford Colliery in September 1934 when 266 miners died.

Situated just of the A483 and close to the number 1 Wrexham/Chester bus route, the Social Club is easy to get to.

There are two halls within the building, which are almost tailor-made for a beer festival. Disabled access is provided.

DIRECTIONS FROM THE A483:
Exit the bypass (signposted Gresford). At the roundabout, exit onto Bluebell Lane (Pandy): (Take the 5th exit if coming from the Chester direction or the 1st exit if coming from the Oswestry direction.)

When you reach Pandy, take the first left into the car park (look out for the Gresford Colliery Memorial).

Bus timetables can be found at the following link: Arriva Number 1 Wrexham/Chester

SEE YOU THERE !!!!

Excellent. I'll be the one with long hair running around looking stressed. I'm one of the organisers.

Nice to meet you Roger and Jake, pity it was such a fleeting talk. Hope you enjoyed the festival.

EDIT: It never fails to suprise me generally the age of us on here. I always think everyone is older than they are.

Thanks, but it was a team effort. Thanks to Bryn, Matt, David, Shirley and Jim. And the Chester members that kept an eye on us for our first festival =D>
