THE VENUE:
On the grounds of the Colliery club is a memorial to the mining disaster at Gresford Colliery in September 1934 when 266 miners died.

Situated just of the A483 and close to the number 1 Wrexham/Chester bus route, the Social Club is easy to get to.

There are two halls within the building, which are almost tailor-made for a beer festival. Disabled access is provided.

DIRECTIONS FROM THE A483:
Exit the bypass (signposted Gresford). At the roundabout, exit onto Bluebell Lane (Pandy): (Take the 5th exit if coming from the Chester direction or the 1st exit if coming from the Oswestry direction.)

When you reach Pandy, take the first left into the car park (look out for the Gresford Colliery Memorial).

Bus timetables can be found at the following link: Arriva Number 1 Wrexham/Chester

SEE YOU THERE !!!!

I can't make this I'm afraid but last years was a really enjoyable 'do' - well attended, lots of great beer & some good music too. Highly recommended 8)

Don't forget to have a telly available in a corner for the Wales vs France game on Friday evening. I can't stand TVs in pubs normally but when there's a rugby match, that's different.
