Drew - I got the one from Norm. Seems to work well enough. I suspect it's the control method is a bit temperature unstable (pressure fluctuates with ambient temperature), but I have nothing to compare it against to say if that's normal or not.

Can you resist getting a cornie at the same time though...? ;-)
ML.

Cheers for the advice, chaps.

I am quite tempted by the ones Norm sells, by the time you add the postage to buying the bits separately it comes out about 10% more expensive than Norm.

The only question in my mind was, are Norm's ones good quality?

ML, if you're saying the only problem is a little bit of temperature dependence then I think I might go for it. Like you say there isn't a way to tell that you wouldn't get the same with another regulator.

And another Cornie? I haven't even used the first one yet :)

Hi all,

I'm also thinking of popping down to Cambridge Beers for CO2. I also need a regulator, would this one (from the same place as Jubby suggested) be as good? It comes with a 4 bar (60 PSI) gauge so you wouldn't need to buy one. It's also over a fiver cheaper for some reason!

@Drew - What one did you go with in the end?

Hi, I went with Norm in the end. Don't think he's got any on ebay now but he can probably still get them.
Norms one works fine, the only slight problem is the scale on the output gauge is 0-140 psi which means that, for the pressures I want, the needle hardly moves off zero.

Cheers Drew! Yep, Norm doesn't have any for offer on fleabay at the moment. With Jubby's advice (thanks Jubby) I have one of these on order.
