Just thought I'd post info about Boot Beer Festival in Eskdale, Cumbria.
Went last 2 years and its been really good. Its based over 3 pubs. 2 in Boot Village and one furthur down road towards Hardknott Pass.
The selection and stardard of beers is always excellent. There is live music and bbqs and different events in the pubs daily.
Thought it might have been a bit of a subdued affair last year as the week before that Bird fello went on a shooting spree and ended up killing himself in the woods near Boot. And one of his non fatal victims was the landlord of the Woolpack Inn. But this wasn't the case everyone still had a great time.
There are 2 campsites, although the one nearest Boot will prob be booked up by now. The other is a first come first served site so if you come on thurs or early fri you are guaranteed a pitch. Its about a mile or so walk to Boot though, but a very scenic one.
There are also holiday cottages and the Woolpack Inn has a B&B attached.

So if your not doing anything that weekend come down.
