Post by BurtonBrewer » Sun Sep 16, 2007 7:36 pm

This is the 28th festival and we are celabrating 25yrs of micro brewing here in Burton on Trent.
There's over 100 cask ales, 16 ales from Irland, 20+ Ciders and Perries.
It should be a cracking event folks!

The first year in 10 that i've missed
The town hall is a cracking venue but does get a bit sardine like on Friday night!

Now, ex sister-in-law so I don't have a bed for the night or a taxi service
Check out the beers we have for sale @ Mix Brewery

Its a shame you missed it. Oakhams Haka and Atilla(7.5%) drunk exceptionally well at the event. My favourite of the fest was the Goerge Wright's "Icebreaker".
O yes I met David Edge and his wife too,a man of great brewing knowledge. :)
