Hi Guys

Back from holiday and back at work, just wondered if anyone fancied getting together again on Wednesday 8th September for a chat and a couple of beers at the George in Tiffield

I have also joined the CBA and asked for a pack with details and ideas for clubs

I'm probably not going to be able to make it. Shame really as I've just scored the motherload of hops and if I'd known a few days earlier.. I'd have brought you chaps some fresh ones. Nevermind... if I can't get out of my prior commitment I'll see you next time round and will fetch some vac-packed for you.

Looks like the Northants club is going to continue with new member joining us for beers last night.

We are going to make this a monthly meet and Wednesday appears to be favourite just need to post some dates for the coming months.

Also Russell (Landlord) at The George has said we can use the back room for tasting events, etc free of charge which is good for both of us. We will probably do something late October/early November which will also probably be on a weekend rather than a weekend but we can sort that out in October.

How do you guys fancy doing this on a monthly basis we could do the following dates.

Wednesday 6th October
Wednesday 3rd November
Wednesday 1st December

Wednesday seems to be the day of choice so far.

I think we will go with the meetings towards the end of the months but myself and steve are going to the George tonight for a beer or 2 if anyone wants to join us then more the merrier.

I thought we could try and do a tasting evening for the November meeting.
Also thought for the couple of guys who aren't AG we could do a brew at mine one weekend maybe and at the end of October.

Quick heads-up . there is a Beer festival on in Bedford starting tomorrow and running through to the weekend. I'll be there tomorrow evening for a few scoops.
